Following the global pandemic in 2019, organizations sought to operate almost fully online or find new ways of growth amidst difficulty. New growth methods were sought after as a means of extending reach to international partners, while others were looking to learn from or build new members, teams, networks and clientele.
How do Kingdom-focused individuals actively improve in today’s Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) world? How can you keep your business focused on the Kingdom, while growing holistically as well? These Four (4) C’s may be the key-
- Connect- GO deeper!
- Connect with God: GO to the source of hope. Restore the relationship with your Creator- direct your situations to Him through daily time in the Bible and constant Prayer.
- Connect with Others: GO with your friends, peers, mentees, coaches, mentors, family, etc. They will give you the support needed to rise to the next level.
- Capacity- Powered like AA batteries!
- Ability– Maximize each set of skills in your team- Share and distribute the skills available appropriately for maximum output on capacity. If someone is not well suited for a specific task, do your best to re-organize around their skills and strengths.
- Availability– Maximize your availability and that of your team by ensuring meeting times are favorable for all members. For example, consider how early mornings in North America may be late nights in the Pacific. Know your team and try to engage each member for maximum productivity.
- Commitment- Be at PAR with high standards!
- Prioritize– Be at par with each other’s vision. Prioritize the group meetings and doing the work you have committed to carrying out before the next meeting. Local activities can easily distract. Keep your eye on the global vision and see it through.
- Active engagement – Be at par by committing to standards required for membership. Are members all contributing equally to the greater goal? Pick out ways to measure how active individuals are during global calls and have members submit simple and frequent updates.
- Responsibility– Members should commit to team expectations. Consider only those faithful with local and regional responsibilities as ready for the global scene.
- Chemistry- Be a PAL!
- Positive Thinking– Becoming pals with chemistry starts from a positive mindset. Write down 5-10 things that you are hopeful about your project and team. Encourage yourself and your team by highlighting these things during calls.
- Accountability– Chemistry is also built through accountability. Strong measures of success help keep members accountable for their actions.
- Love– This is the greatest element for true chemistry in your organization. Mutual respect has love as a bedrock. Does your group exude love? Is there love in how you carry yourselves? Can staff/clients feel the love underlying the emails and calls made?
Kingdom-focused entrepreneurs that connect, build capacity, commit to each other, and have continuous chemistry will likely shape the future of the business world. Is your business up to these standards? Take a moment to rate it against the above 4 C’s.
